Joburg Promusica Theatre also brings you the best of jazz. We were very priviledged this year to have the Egon Haag Band (a world class swing band) from Germany play to a full house at our theatre. The band is directed by Egon Haag, one of Germany's most respected jazz musicians who spent many years as lead tenor saxophonist with the famous Max Greger Band. The Egon Haag band has entertained audiences at jazz concerts, black tie dinners and special events from Stuttgart to Los Angeles since 1990.

As part of our commitment to community development, the Bekezela Jazz Band featured as the supporting act. All the members of this Jazz band are blind.
